Final look of Shell logo and the Descriptions

This is the Shell logo I made. Below are the description and the Final Logo Picture.

Logo:


This are the descriptions of the colors and the shape of my Shell Logo:

COLORS

White – represented the pure and honestly of this logo.

Red- represented the passions of this logo.

Blue- represented unites in the logo of shell.

Green- represented the color of petrol.

- represented the color of nature.

Yellowish Golden- represented the standard of Shell.

Black- contrast and show the mysterious of Shell.

SHAPES

- The 14 strips which red and white in color represented the 14 states of Malaysia.

- The droplet which green in color represented the petrol of Shell Company.

- The shape of the logo is look like a pump from the petrol station and this shows that presenting the idea to those people who saw it and attract them to use the Shell Petrol Station.

Descriptions

This is the descriptions of the logo that I create. I would like to talk about the meaning of the colors and the shape. There are a few colors that being chosen by me which is white, red, blue, green, black, and yellowish golden. However, I’ve chosen the shape of the logo that look like the pump from the petrol station. It’s simple and easier to send the message to the users. Red and white are use for the 14 strips as the background of the whole logo is to represent the pure and honestly of Shell and red is to show the passion of Shell through the logo. The 14 strips also show that the 14 states of Malaysia that Shell Company have their petrol station there. Next, I choose green on purpose as the color of the droplet because green represented nature and it is the color of petrol. Besides, green is chosen because nowadays the Earth is facing the problem of global warming so green’s main purpose is to remind people to protect the nature. After that, I think of choosing blue to be the color of the words because blue show unites. I hope that Shell can unite with the respective customers. However, I also choose the yellowish golden to be the main color for this logo. The big ‘S’ is in yellowish golden color because it represented Shell and let the rivals know that the how high is the standard of Shell. Lastly, the black as the background of the ‘S’ function as the background color and show that how mysterious of Shell Company compared to the rivals. This is what came out to my mind for the Shell logo.
